I got a DS2 as a replacement for my DS1. Then I told them I had a System One. They said they were obsolete but they would send me a refurbished DS1 as a replacement and I jumped on it! I got my refurbished DS1 in yesterday and used your suggestion on using a Drain Weasel. The foam is a different type of foam than originally used so it was a little more difficult to get out but I did it. I’m waiting for a video that shows how to get the foam out of the DS2. This recall was a blessing in disguise because my DS1 quit because of an electronic issue.

Received new machine 11/3/22. Was kinda hesitant about using, but will use if I have any problems I'll just take foam out. One note these new machines are self programming. I'll try old adjustments had old machine on automatic. I'd had not problems with old unit. But I'm a Veteran and don't what any VA troubles.
